Terms and Conditions

Updated 3 November 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Calm Money, a service provided by Conversation of Money Ltd (5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG) (“we,” “our,” “us,” or the “Company”). By registering for, purchasing, or otherwise using Calm Money, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

Calm Money is a financial education and coaching membership. It is designed to help you build practical systems around budgeting, debt reduction, financial stability, and investing.

Calm Money is financial education, not regulated financial advice. Nothing provided through the Service, including coaching sessions, your coaching journal, the community, or communication with Peter Komolafe or any other member of the team, constitutes personalised financial advice under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). You should seek regulated independent financial advice before making significant financial decisions specific to your circumstances.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for or use Calm Money. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet this age requirement.

3. Registration and Your Account

When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

Your account, login details, and access to Calm Money are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred to any other person, including friends, family members, colleagues, or any third party. This includes sharing passwords, login links, or downloaded materials to grant access to someone who has not bought Calm Money. If we reasonably believe your account is being shared or accessed by someone other than you, we may suspend or terminate your access without refund.

4. Your Membership, Price and Payment

Calm Money is a monthly membership. It costs £199 a month and includes:

  • A one-to-one coaching session every month: 60 minutes on Zoom with your coach. Your coach is Peter Komolafe, unless we agree otherwise with you. Your first session sets your goals and maps out your timeline.
  • Your coaching journal: a private online space shared with your coach, including your joint progress report, which you and your coach update together.
  • Your fact find, the money personality test and practical tools, shared by your coach in your coaching journal.
  • WhatsApp with your coach: message your coach between sessions with quick questions about putting your plan into action. It isn’t a further coaching session.

Members who joined on our earlier platform also keep access to the Calm Money community there while it stays open. The community is not included for new members.

It does not include a separate written report after each session, or a recorded monthly update.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include any VAT that applies. Your first monthly payment is taken at checkout, and each later payment on the same day of the month (or the last day of a shorter month). Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe; we do not store your full card details ourselves. If a payment fails, Stripe will try again, and we may pause your coaching sessions until the payment is made.

If we change the monthly price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. You can cancel before then if you do not want to continue.

5. Cancelling Your Membership

You can cancel any time, from your coaching journal or by emailing us at the address in Section 14. Cancelling stops all future payments. Your membership, including your coaching journal, continues until the end of the month you have already paid for, and then ends. We do not refund part months, except as set out in Section 7.

Before your membership ends, you can download a copy of your coaching journal from inside it. We keep your journal for 12 months after your membership ends, as explained in our Privacy Policy, and then delete it.

Each month’s session belongs to that month. A session you do not book or attend does not carry over to a later month, unless we rearrange it under Section 6.

If we ever close Calm Money, we will give you reasonable notice and stop taking payments.

6. Coaching Sessions and Community

Coaching sessions are booked through the booking link in your coaching journal. You can cancel or reschedule using the links in your booking confirmation. If you cannot attend, cancel or tell us at least 24 hours before the session starts and we will rearrange it within the same month where we can. A session missed without that notice may not be rearranged. If we need to move a session, we will offer you another time.

The community, where you have access to it, is a space for members to support each other. Your coach does not answer individual questions there; those belong in your coaching sessions. You must treat other members with respect and keep what they share private. We may remove posts, or suspend your access to the community, if you do not.

7. Your Right to Cancel and Refunds

Your legal right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days from joining to cancel. When you join, we will ask you to confirm that you want your membership, including your coaching journal, to start straight away. If you cancel within those 14 days, we will refund your first payment less an amount for the service already provided, including any coaching session that has taken place. To cancel within the 14 days, email us at the address in Section 14.

To ask for a refund, email us at the address in Section 14. This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Access and Licence

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Calm Money content and coaching included in your membership, for your own personal financial education. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, or use the content for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

Copying, recording and downloading. The content is for you to use inside Calm Money. You must not:

  • record, screen-record or capture audio from any lesson, video, workshop or coaching session;
  • download, save or scrape the content, except materials we offer as downloads (such as worksheets and guides), which are for your own personal use only;
  • copy or transcribe the content, or upload any of it to a website, file-sharing service, social media platform or AI tool;
  • share the content, downloads or any recording with anyone who has not bought Calm Money.

If you do, we may end your access straight away without a refund, and we may take legal action to protect our content.

9. Conduct in Sessions and the Community

In coaching sessions and the community, you agree to:

  • Treat other members and the team with respect
  • Not share other members’ personal information or financial details without their consent
  • Not use the community to promote unrelated products, services, or solicitations
  • Not share paid content outside Calm Money

We may remove anyone from the community, or end their membership, for conduct that we reasonably believe breaches these standards or is otherwise harmful to other members.

10. Intellectual Property

All content within Calm Money, including videos, worksheets, frameworks, and materials shared in coaching and in your coaching journal, is the intellectual property of Conversation of Money Ltd and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without our prior written permission.

11. No Guarantee of Results

While Calm Money is designed to help you build a practical financial system, we do not guarantee any specific financial outcome, result, or level of income, savings, or debt reduction. Dates and figures produced by the calculator on our website are estimates based on the information you enter, not predictions or promises. Your results depend on factors outside our control, including your own actions, circumstances, and the wider economic environment.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Conversation of Money Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, for example by email or a notice on the website, before the changes take effect. A material change applies to you from your next monthly payment after we tell you about it, and you can cancel before then. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Calm Money will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

If you have any questions about these Terms, contact us at: hello@peterkomolafe.com
